Job Overview

General Information

Spitzer Industries, a leader in the design and manufacturing of high-quality equipment, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to enhance our operations.

Daily Responsibilities of the Receiving Clerk

  • Manage all documentation related to incoming shipments throughout the day.
  • Verify the accuracy of received materials documentation.
  • Input verified materials into the SAGE 100 (MAS) system daily.
  • Notify relevant parties of any discrepancies in material quantities, back orders, or descriptions.
  • Maintain and update the Receiving Log on a daily basis.
  • Organize and oversee the daily Receiving Schedule for all incoming deliveries.
  • Digitally archive all receiving paperwork into the Daily Receiving Folder and relevant department/job folders.
  • Facilitate communication with Shop and Office Personnel regarding received materials.
  • Assist Accounts Payable in resolving invoice discrepancies.
  • Update the HOT board with incoming critical materials as directed.
  • Process warehouse requisitions for necessary supplies and tools.
  • Execute assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Provide support to other departments as required.
  • Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate for the Receiving Clerk position at Spitzer Industries should possess the following:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering, oil field, and commercial terminology is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office software and SAGE 100 (MAS).

Compensation

Spitzer Industries offers competitive salaries based on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule
