Job Summary: As an Experienced Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating different types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to move materials and products within our warehouse or production facility. Your expertise will ensure smooth logistics and inventory management, contributing to the overall success of our operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks to transport materials and products to designated locations.
  • Safely load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves using various forklifts.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage materials for shipment or distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies or damages.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and standards for quality, safety, and efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach truck forklifts.
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to operate forklifts in various environments, including tight spaces and high racks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel experience is preferred.


Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
