Immediate Opportunity
At least an interim Secret DOD Security Clearance is is preferred but not required. Must be a US citizen and able to pass a BACKGROUND CHECK to start the position.
The Program Analyst will be responsible for various administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program in support of various CSM projects. Prefer a minimum of an interim Secret clearance to start.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily use of MS Project.
- Perform administrative and analytical task support of contract projects
- Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitor tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for the contract program
- Participates in establishing and defining program plan requirements
- May develop material requirements list, create and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for various shipboard installation projects
- Create and manage project financial reports to include monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure the contractor meets contractual, cost, and schedule objectives
- May prepare weekly status and financial reports
- May prepare various PowerPoint briefings to support weekly briefs and milestone meetings
- May monitor program action items weekly
- May monitor the progress of program requirements
- Interact regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline + 2-5 years of related finance or business analysis experience required.
- Bachelors may be substituted with six years of additional experience added to the required experience of 2-5 years (therefore, high school or associate degree with 8-11 years of experience)
- Effective organizational skills
- Proficiency in the use of MS Project, Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint
- Effective communication skills
- Basic knowledge of program requirements
- Experience with MS Project and Scheduler
- Willingness to learn/support technical aspects of the project.
