Could you be our next Administrative Clerk? Globe Life is looking for an Administrative Clerk - FHL to join the team
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of operations with various functions and managing daily workflow. The Administrative Clerk is responsible for engaging with each department as well as on behalf of the company in a positive and professional manner.
This is an onsite position located in Cleveland, Ohio.
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for distribution of mail as well as mailing of all outgoing letters generated from each claim specialist; includes reviewing each letter for accuracy and proper claim form.
- Returned mail research, follow up and reporting.
- Must be courteous, helpful, and professional when communicating with policy holders and agents.
- Processes policy holder requests in SOAR with high accuracy.
- In constant communication with each area concerning incoming/outgoing documents and faxes.
- Assists with the void and reissuance process for returned and outstanding checks.
- Assist Billing department with opening and preparing incoming mail for direct and group payments.
- Watches for trends, issues, or potential fraud along with assisting with agent investigation.
- Assist with various office functions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years customer service experience required.
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality, flexibility, and support of management is always expected.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Individual must be a team player and be able to work independently.
- Positive and helpful attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
- Ability to independently identify, research and resolve issues.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and still maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Reliable and predictable attendance of your assigned shift.
- Ability to work full time and/or part time based on the position specifications.
