We are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our customers team in the Fort Washington area. This contract to hire position is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to grow with our company and make a significant impact on networking and infrastructure projects.Job Description: The IT Infrastructure Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our networking and infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for managing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and optimizing network systems to ensure performance and security. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, experience with project management, work independently and have a proficiency in Office 365 and MS Teams administration.Responsibilities: - Implement and manage network infrastructure projects from inception to completion. - Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and schedule upgrades. - Administer and support core Microsoft technolgies, routing, switching, and other related Cloud or on-premise technologies. - Manage and configure Office 365 services, including Teams administration. - Ensure network security and connectivity are maintained at the highest standards. - Document network configuration, operational procedures, and network diagrams. - Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver projects on time and within budget. - Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.Requirements: - Associates or technical degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A+ certs preferred- Proven experience in networking and infrastructure roles, with a strong technical background. - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams administration. - Familiarity with network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) and network protocols. - Some project management experience, with the ability to lead projects and meet deadlines. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSA) are a plus.What We Offer: - Opportunity to work on exciting projects with cutting-edge technologies.
