On our G90 Urology Surgical Care Unit, you will be caring for adult patients that have a variety of complex diagnoses, as well as our post-operative Urology patients. These patients are recovering from various procedures such as radical nephrectomies and need highly specialized care that you will be equipped to give.As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Cleveland Clinic you will provide top-quality patient care to diverse populations of patients in our department. Other duties as assigned.Education:Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.Certifications:Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).Work Experience: One year of patient care experience preferred.Physical Requirements: Requires full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good eye-hand volves extensive standing and walking.Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
