Job Description
An environmental company is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager. In this seat, you will be owning the GL function and leading month end close. Since you will be dealing with grant funding, previous non-profit experience is highly preferred. The ideal candidate has Sage Intacct experience, has a background working in the non-profit industry, and has 3+ year of GL and month-end experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all aspects of corporate real estate accounting, contributing to the financial success of an expanding company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and analyze financial data for real estate transactions that drive the company's growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants responsible for real estate accounting functions.
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage budgets for properties.
  • Provide financial forecasts and analyses to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3+ years' related accounting experience to include experience in the non-profit space; CPA preferred
  • Public accounting &/or corporate accounting preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot table, VLOOKUP, and other nested functions
