If you like to work in a collaborative environment with lots of opportunities and ways to grow in your career join Colliers Engineering & Design to accelerate YOUR success Responsibilities Perform engineering calculations for water, sanitary, drainage, and road designs. Lead design tasks with other EITs, designers, and technicians. Produce submittal-ready package with plans, specifications, estimates, and applications to governmental and private entities. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Produce exhibits with proposed design and existing infrastructure to present to clients. Assist project engineer in cost and schedule updates. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. 2-5 years of experience designing roads, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities. Proficient in design with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Ability to calculate pipe capacity, drainage areas, vertical curves, and horizontal curves. Ability to produce construction-ready plans. Ability to review and interpret prepared survey drawings/data. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate is required. Self-starter who can work independently and with team members. Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations. Bluebeam proficiency preferred. Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development-related designs, preferred. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
