YOUR DAY TO DAY:
* Execute diverse, non-standard mechanical and technical tasks, including troubleshooting and constructing intricate electronic, mechanical, or assembly work.
* Assemble component parts and complete units, integrating electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and structural assemblies for satellite antenna products.
* Wire panels, junction boxes, and other components to support manufacturing operations.
* Collaborate with engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure best practices.
* Interpret preliminary engineering drawings to plan and enhance satellite antenna products or mechanical devices.
* Drive design enhancements and cost-control measures through technical expertise and skills.
* Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to foster team success and knowledge sharing.
* Fulfill additional assigned duties to meet organizational goals and objectives.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
* 10+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and training totaling.
* Team-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Excellent manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks.
* Proven ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in manufacturing techniques and processes.
* This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds safely during manufacturing processes.
