Here’s what you should know if you want to be an Account Director at R/GA:
On any given day you might
Take accountability for growing client business organically, client satisfaction, and internal team retention and integration
Work to identify new organic growth opportunities for existing clients, this goes from proactive client conversations around evolving business goals, partnering with strategy on opportunities, etc.
Act as a key client partner across at least 2 key businesses w/in the healthcare and wellness space
Act as the R/GA lead on any cross-agency collaboration and contribute to the overall planning process with partners
Serve as a new business resource and actively pursue new revenue sources in partnership with MD, Client Services
Nurture direct reports and have the ability to partner easily with production support (production and client service at R/GA are like “right arm and left arm”
Engage in client relationships that range from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare and wellness space
The ideal person
Has a long history of forging strong relationships with healthcare clients
Excellent public speaking skills and presentation experience
Comfortable with working at a digital-led agency, respect for new technology, and quality user experiences
Comfortable with website development and the 360 digital media space, inclusive of social media
Has demonstrated experience running large engagements (>$2m) with Fortune 500 clients
Is interested (or has experience in) understanding how to work with a start-up culture and get their “hands dirty”
Can foster strong, cohesive working interdisciplinary teams of more than 15 people
You bring
10+ years of demonstrated client management and strategy experience
A sucker for collaboration and has empathy for all disciplines
