WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling and directing activities of the Business Services Credit and Operations Teams.
  • Oversees all business credit functions, and overall operations functions, including, but not limited to, loan analysis, processing, portfolio concentration limits, portfolio performance reporting, and supports commercial collections related activities as needed.
  • Manages and monitors the business loan portfolio, including credit risk monitoring, construction loan management, loan participation purchasing and selling, treasury management solutions, and vendor management.
  • Decisions loan requests within designated approval authority as outlined in the business lending policy, including recommendations in areas outside of their loan authority.
  • Conducts and reviews most complex commercial credit analysis by evaluating the risk of the borrower.
  • Helps support and direct the Treasury Management Department.
  • Develops and implements credit risk policies, departmental policies, and operational procedures as needed.
  • Ensures business operations activities are conducted in accordance with the business lending policy and compliance standards.
  • Participates and serves as a key member of the Credit Committee.
  • Trains, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates Business Services Operations and Credit Teams.
  • Ensures Commercial Lending is delivered professionally and efficiently.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Five plus years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Experience leading a credit team/department is required.
  • Experience analyzing business financial statements and assessing the viability of businesses.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to keep finances in order.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong proven record of management skills and leading a team.
