Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management systems support, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint), HTML, JAVA, and CSS. They should have experience managing data collection sites and implementing custom web templates. The role requires providing customer support and troubleshooting for senior staff and users, developing and providing training materials and user guides for site managers and the user community. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems. The candidate must have the ability to develop positive relationships and communicate effectively with senior management, project managers, and IT operations staff, and apply methodologies to projects with well-defined requirements and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote KM Services: Expand services and knowledge sharing throughout the command.

• Planning and Coordination: Provide advice and assistance in planning and coordinating resource, organizational, and leadership requirements for KM strategies and practices.

• Project Management: Guide cross-functional teams to deliver projects within schedule, budget, and scope constraints.

• Support KM Personnel: Provide guidance and support throughout the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

• Process Improvement: Perform process analysis, improvement, reengineering, and training using various KM processes and tools.

• KM Assessments: Conduct KM assessments for planning and managing projects that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing.

• Develop KM Processes: Assess and improve knowledge and information flows throughout the command.

• Business Rules Development: Develop and promulgate business rules to create repeatable command knowledge sharing processes.

• Technology Integration: Introduce technology to automate command knowledge sharing processes for increased efficiencies.

• Force Readiness Analytics Group Support: Develop governance, knowledge usage, retention, and transfer policies. Support IT-related issues, including computer assignments, software updates, and tech support. Provide access to dashboard development applications and support KM best practices, use case development, and process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: The Knowledge Manager shall have an advanced degree in business and/or social sciences



• Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required. A working knowledge of the Six Sigma methods and techniques, a Green Belt certification is required for this position.
