Responsibilities: Work with a small team of engineers in developing MR devices. Model, build, test, and refine prototypes, design components for manufacturability and structural integrity. Contribute to mechanical solutions as part of a highly cross-functional team Document all design, simulation and modeling materials and communicate across the teams Coordinate with manufacturing experts to optimize part design and production processes. Support production throughout the manufacturing process to realize your designs. Skills:Must Have: 3-5 years of previous experience designing consumer electronics, medical or similar products Unigraphics NX 3D and 2D CAD experience Knowledge in mechanical fundamentals: Can speak to material properties, moment analysis, mechanical aptitude Familiar w/ manufacturing knowledge and experience specifically with plastic injection molding (needs to be able to design a plastic part that can be tooled) Nice to Have: Background driving China-based vendors remotely and in-person Manufacturing knowledge and experience specifically with plastic injection molding, stamping, diecasting and composites Experience building part and assembly prototypes in the shop Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, GD&T, and 3D/2D CAD Compensation:The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
