We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with a passion for designing consumer electronics, medical, or similar products. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and proficiency in Unigraphics NX 3D and 2D CAD. This role involves working with a small team of engineers to develop MR devices, model, build, test, and refine prototypes, and design components for manufacturability and structural integrity. You will also document all design, simulation, and modeling materials, coordinate with manufacturing experts, and support production throughout the manufacturing process.
Hard Skills
+ 3-5 years of experience designing consumer electronics, medical, or similar products
+ Unigraphics NX 3D and 2D CAD experience
+ Knowledge in mechanical fundamentals: material properties, moment analysis, mechanical aptitude
+ Familiarity with manufacturing processes, specifically plastic injection molding
Soft Skills
+ Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
+ Strong documentation and communication skills

Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Weekly.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Sunnyvale, California.
Work Environment
Candidates can work out of Sunnyvale or Seattle. The work involves collaborating with a small team of engineers and coordinating with manufacturing experts to optimize part design and production processes.
