ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that represent our data assets and support our business processes and requirements.

Define data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Develop data integration strategies and solutions to enable seamless data flow and interoperability between systems, applications, and data sources.

Select and design appropriate data storage technologies and architectures, including relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-based storage solutions.

Establish metadata management practices to catalog and document data assets, including data definitions, lineage, quality, and usage.

Implement data quality and master data management frameworks to improve data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.

Perform database administrative tasks on EDW such as: add/remove users or access, create database objects such as triggers, stored procedures, views, materialized views, etc.

Provide guidance and support to Engineers on proper tunning of SQL or PL/SQL.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance data architecture and infrastructure.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and priorities, and communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical audiences.

Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in data management, analytics, and architecture, and evaluate their potential impact on our data strategy and roadmap. Assist in other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions in a complex enterprise environment.

Expertise in data modeling, data governance, data integration, and data management concepts and best practices.

Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin), data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend), and metadata management tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
