About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Lead to support our client, NSWC Crane. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing Information Assurance and Cybersecurity solutions for customers across the DoD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our government customer to create dashboards in Splunk to discover cyber risks, understand system vulnerabilities, and report on federally mandated actions.
  • Utilize dashboards for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to develop and disseminate key dashboard information in ways that prioritize risk mitigation.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of IT security best practices.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Ability to analyze IT Security monitoring and reporting requirements and define, design, develop, maintain, or improve Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Knowledge of IT Security tools such as Nessus.
  • Experience as a Splunk Dashboard Developer.
  • Experience working with a team, but also leading projects and interacting with the customer.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
  • CASP certification (or any DOD 8570 IAT Level III certification).
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance: an Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
