The Public Relations Manager will develop & supervise PR strategies to boost visibility for the firm's top Litigation practices, relevant industries, and legal professionals in the U.S. This involves focusing on key areas such as IP Litigation, Privacy & Data Security, Investigations & White Collar Defense, Securities Litigation, National Security, and Appellate groups.

Secure placements in suitable media outlets, aligning with strategic plans and seizing reactive opportunities to enhance firm and practice areas' visibility. Foster relationships with relevant press contacts across national, trade, legal, and business publications. Direct oversight of external PR agency. Identify additional avenues to boost firm's profile in strategic regions. Cultivate strong relationships with partners within and outside premier Litigation practices. Prepare partners for media engagements and engage in meetings with key reporters. Craft various communication materials, including press releases, media pitches, talking points, article abstracts, and pre-briefing documents. Provide guidance and management to junior PR team members. Collaborate with Business Development and partners to pinpoint industry trends, deals, cases, and client work for promotion. Analyze and report on outcomes of PR campaigns, making strategic adjustments. Work closely with U.S. and global PR/communications team to maximize opportunities and maintain messaging consistency. Assist in developing strategies and content for internal and crisis management scenarios.
