Job Title: Food Server

Job Description

Summary/Objective: Your role as a server is one of the most important jobs in our department. You will be representing the department at events and/or in a restaurant-style atmosphere. You will be greeting our guests and interacting with them throughout their time with us.
Essential Functions:
•Supports the culinary team in creating a culture that is Resident/Patient directed, focused on identifying and highlighting customer needs, creating an environment that promotes exceptional service.
•Supports service recovery plans when needed.
•Meets scheduled meal and event times.
•Takes meal orders, arranges trays, and serves the person with front and back of the house in a professional and concise manner.
•Follows cleaning schedules and performs cleaning duties as scheduled.
•Follows defined Infection Control policies and procedures.
•Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Facility's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to job.
•Performs other department duties or special assignments as directed by the Culinary Services Facility Director or designee.
Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to temperature and humidity changes as in entering refrigerated storage areas, working near ovens, ranges, dish-washing machines, and at steam tables.
Shift: First or Second
Starting Pay Rate: $15-$18/hr (depending on experience)
