Description Burgos Group is currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to work on a heavy civil engineering project at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The project is located between Socorro and Alamogordo, NM and will require multiple shifts and weekend work. The Quality Control Manager must have extensive experience in aboveground and underground construction. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to ensure that our services meet all necessary client requirements. Must be able to pass a federal background check. Responsibilities: Continuously review quality control processes, procedures and capabilities in order to sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements. Make recommendations for improvement as appropriate. Review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for the project meets contractual requirements. Review and approve Contractor and sub-contractor quality control documentation to ensure their planned activities meet contractual requirements. Understand client needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures requirements. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as Quality Control Manager. Conscientious and responsible. A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach. Outstanding communication skills. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Proficient in MS Office. In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards. BS/BA in business administration or relevant field. Minimum of 5 years of experience Must have or obtain Army Corps of Engineers CQC training with in 30 calendar days of employment. Indian Preference Exercised: Prairie Band, LLC is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. In accordance with Title 22, this position is designated as a TIER 2 position. Preference will be given to individuals to the extent required pursuant to Section 22-2-4(B).
