We're assisting our client near Menomonee Falls with adding an interim Senior Accountant to their team for the next 8 weeks. We are looking for a resource to start immediately. The ideal candidate will possess at least five to seven years of Accountant level experience, a degree in Accounting and strong Excel skills. The position is in the office four days a week and one day remote or all in-office if preferred. Full-time hours Monday through Friday. Please apply for immediate consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support timely monthly financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with daily accounting tasks as needed.
  • Responsible for various audits, including preparing schedules and providing commentary with respect to financial results and account variances.
  • Research accounting and tax issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other regulations.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of Accountant level experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Need to be independent and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
