Yes& is looking for a Senior Brand Strategist that will work with both clients and internal team members to strategically guide brand, communications, marketing, and creative initiatives. Playing a pivotal role in shaping and driving the brand direction of our clients, we are seeking a highly-motivated individual with exceptional communication, analytical, and creative thinking skills to join our team - contributing to the growth and success of our agency through the growth and success of our clients.

What you will do:

    • Serve as the lead strategist across several pieces of business.
    • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive brand strategies.
    • Lead marketing and communications plans that inform solutions our clients' business goals.
    • Craft inspiring creative briefs that provide strategic direction and a springboard for creative development.
    • Conduct secondary and primary research to identify trends and needs among the audience, in the marketplace, about the brand, and within culture.
    • Analyze and interpret research to inform strategic decision-making, developing insights from data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including creative, media, content, digital, and account leadership disciplines - to ensure strategic alignment and execution.
    • Create, deliver, and present brand, communications, creative, and integrated marketing strategies to clients.
    • Develop personas, customer journeys, and messaging frameworks.
    • Provide strategic oversight in the development of creative campaigns and content.
    • Connect business objectives, brand opportunities, and audience needs to drive integrated communications and customer experience strategies.
    • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, identifying new growth opportunities for our clients.
    • Work with teams to develop measurement plans with key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand success.
    • Plan, develop, and facilitate brainstorming sessions and collaborative client workshops.
    • Supervise junior team members and provide mentorship.
    • Deliver presentations to internal teams, clients, and senior management.
    • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners.
    • Serve as the overall coordinator of strategic delivery, bringing in other strategic disciplines (content, digital/social, UX/UI etc.) where and when needed.
    • Contribute thought leadership for, and on behalf of, Yes& and our clients.
    • Participate in and lead strategy for new business proposals and pitch presentations.
    • Sell in strategy services to clients and help account teams do so.
    • Bring new approaches to problem solving and strategy design within the agency.
    • Act as a brand champion within the company and to external audiences.
Experience you need:
    • Degree from a four-year college in Communications/Marketing, Business, Economics, Psychology/Sociology, Journalism or other related field
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills
    • Excellent deck creation and storytelling skills
    • 3-6 years of experience in an advertising agency or in related field
    • Prior agency experience is highly preferred
    • Demonstrated success with client relationships, team management, and business development
    • Must be a US Citizen and able to pass a Public Trust Security Clearance
