Job Description:***Wasatch Back Float Pool***Shift Details:The Wasatch Back float pool provides coverage for clinics that may open as early as 6:30 AM and stay open as late as 7 PM Monday thru Friday. We also support the InstaCares which are typically open 7 days a week and holidays from 7:50 AM - 8 PM. Float Pool caregivers are expected to work the entire requested shift, usually 8-12 hours, and not partial shifts.Full Time caregivers are required to submit availability of 4 full days per week AND 3 weekend shifts per month.Part Time caregivers are required to submit availability of 3 full days per week AND 3 weekend shifts per month.PRN caregivers are required to submit availability of 1 weekday shift per pay period AND 2 weekend shifts per month (4 shifts per month minimum).Additional Details:This position is in the Wasatch Back Float Pool, which provides coverage for clinics in Park City, and Heber. Although Park City is considered our home base, travel between clinics is required. Shifts may qualify for mileage reimbursement.Job Essentials1. Uses available tools to complete timely and quality submission of bills and follows-up on patient accounts to ensure the prompt and accurate receipt of payments.2. Uses appropriate follow-up methods and contacts in working with various payer types to ensure timely billing and claim resolution.3. Performs account analysis for claim acceptance, rejection, or denials to ensure proper payments are received and ensures all account demographics including payer information is accurate and up to date.4. Satisfies all Intermountain requirements regarding procedural, operational and compliance training and updates.5. Maintains expected productivity and quality standards including working all daily, weekly and monthly reports timely and accurately.6. Makes appropriate corrections to accounts during the collection cycle.7. Communicates effectively and professionally with all internal and external entities. Provides courteous and professional service to all Intermountain patients, affiliates, providers, administrators, employees, co-workers, insurance representatives, vendor representatives, attorneys and other stake holders.Minimum QualificationsTwo years of customer service experience.- and -Keyboarding experience.- and -Demonstrated good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience in professional office setting.- and -Billing or collections experience.Physical Requirements:Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.- and -Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read computer monitors and documents.- and -Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.Anticipated job posting close date:07/31/2024Location:Mountain Family HealthWork City:Park CityWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:20The hourly range for this position is listed below.
