As an HR Assistant/Accounting Assistant in our manufacturing facility, you will play a vital role in supporting both our human resources and accounting departments. Your responsibilities will include assisting with payroll processing, recruitment tasks, employee record maintenance, and handling basic accounting duties such as invoicing and bookkeeping. This position is ideal for someone who is well-organized, possesses strong communication skills, and is eager to contribute to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Assistant/Accounting Assistant:

  • Assist the HR team with recruitment, employee orientation, and maintaining employee records.
  • Support payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle basic accounting duties including invoicing, bookkeeping, and financial record keeping.
  • Respond to internal and external HR and accounting inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as assigned to support both HR and accounting needs.

Qualifications of the HR Assistant/Accounting Assistant:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good phone etiquette and a professional demeanor.
  • Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with financial record keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Previous experience in an HR or accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is highly desirable.
