Learning and Development Program Manager

As a Learning and Development Program Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring organizational readiness and fostering employee growth through a multifaceted role. Your responsibilities encompass guiding new employee orientation, facilitating trainings, managing a life support regional training center, administering the Learning Management System, overseeing education benefits, and proposing improvements to evolve these programs.

- Seven (7) years' experience in human resources and a bachelor's degree in a related field or more extensive experience in replacement of the academic degree.
- Experience in human resources, learning & development, talent management or organization development.
- Exemplary customer service, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent facilitator, communicator, collaborator, and influencer.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Public speaking and facilitation skills.
- Understanding of adult learning and development principles of instructional design.
- Demonstrated experience in creating/modifying online materials to meet current needs/objectives.
- Work experience in e-learning.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Workday
- Master's degree is considered as a strong asset.
- SHRM, HRCI, or ATD certification
- Experience in computer-assisted training and Learning Management System (LMS).
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems designed for healthcare industry, like HealthStream.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and medical terminology knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills to encourage buy-in, advocacy, and support for change and new initiatives with all stakeholders.
- Change management experience.
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play an essential role in fostering organizational growth and employee development by overseeing several critical initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
New Caregiver and New Leader Orientation:
- Facilitate and lead orientation programs for new employees, ensuring a seamless and informative onboarding process.
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to ensure new hires are well-prepared to contribute effectively to the organization from day one.
- Partners with HR Operations team to develop the Benefits review and approval workflow and processing
- Collaborates with relevant departments to align education benefits with the Organization's goals and caregivers' development.
- Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of all learning and development initiatives.
- Design, implement and deploy new trainings based on the Organization needs and challenges
- Identify areas for improvement, create proposals for enhancements, and implement innovative strategies to optimize program outcomes.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maintain the organization's competitive edge in employee development.
- Develop, update, and deliver training programs that meet organizational needs, industry standards and certification requirements.
- Monitor training center operations for AHA, equipment, and instructor compliance to guarantee quality education
Physical Demands and Environmental Work Conditions:
- Working weekends may be required
- Irregular work hours may be required
- Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
- Occasional travel to HealthStream training events
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Occasional lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and stooping
