SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions is seeking a Plant Manager its client in the Bowling Green, KY area. This individual would be responsible for managing all plant operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, instill and support a culture for attracting and retaining top talent.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and schedules.
- Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions, while championing a culture which encourages employees to propose and implement process enhancements and innovative solutions.
- Champion a safety-first culture throughout the plant and ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with Finance to develop and manage manufacturing budgets.
- Support and enable development and implementation of new technologies and processes to maintain / enhance companys competitive advantage.
- Analyze and control production costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on product quality.
- Lead and support lean manufacturing initiatives and other improvement projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Business, or a related field required.
- Master's degree a plus.
- 5+ years of direct experience as a plant manager in a manufacturing setting required.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing required.
- Extensive experience in P&L and budgeting experience.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
- Ability to travel when required.
