Key job responsibilities: The Associate Corporate Counsel for Amazon Ads will be responsible for: Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. Working with business teams and counsels to provide day-to-day advice. Working on complex regulatory matters. The candidate must: Have experience inventing processes and developing ways to track and simplify transactions and projects full-cycle. Have experience with regulatory work and the ability to organize and prioritize diverse tasks. Demonstrate a desire to learn as well as sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Minimum qualifications: Outstanding academic qualifications. Significant experience with a minimum of 2+ years post-qualification legal experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a business partner to senior management. Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines. Excellent English, both spoken and written. Team player who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization. Good degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness but also desire to be challenged and think outside the box. Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor.
