Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

Amazon is seeking a talented attorney to join our legal team as an Associate Corporate Counsel. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage cutting-edge legal work and make history with our team.

About the Role

You will be an integral part of our business teams, serving as lead counsel on a variety of matters, including negotiating strategic technology transactions, fleet procurement, and other commercial deals. You will also act as product counsel for emerging fleet technology and advise on fleet deployment, safety, and regulatory compliance and policy issues.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement legal strategies for handling complex issues in creative, business-centric ways
  • Build processes that address risk and provide flexibility and freedom to move quickly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop programs and tools to improve the delivery experience and safety of drivers, customers, and the broader community
  • Provide counsel on fleet deployment, safety, and regulatory compliance and policy issues
Requirements
  • 2+ years of legal experience
  • Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
  • A mix of corporate law firm and in-house experience (ideally in a start-up or other rapid growth phase) is a plus
