Description

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow and process efficiency, product quality, and team member training,

Tasks

Responsible for assisting the supervisor with day to day tasks to ensure proper product flow, product quality, yield and labor efficiencies. The leadperson must also learn all positions in the department to assist with team member training. Other duties will include data entry and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills and be able to perform tasks with limited supervision. This position involves work in a cold environment, standing and walking.

Requirements

Applicant must have understanding of product specifications and have basic computer skills. Applicant must be a full- time team member and have completed the probationary period. Team members with six or more points or more than one written warning or a suspension on their disciplinary record within the last 12 months or a Core Safety Mandate violation within the last 24 months will not be considered for the position. Team members in this position who reach 9 points will be disqualified from the position and will become non-job owners until they are assigned or bid to another position. "Successful candidate will not be permitted to bid again for six (6) months unless promotion to a higher job is available."

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
