. About the role The

Director of Tax

has responsibility for planning,

directing

and coordinating all tax activities for Quantum Health and its subsidiaries, including the preparation of returns, compliance with federal/state/local statutes, and the accounting for all tax activities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly/annual tax provisions. The Director of Tax will work closely with senior management and third-party service providers to

establish

,

implement

and

maintain

best practice tax strategies for Quantum Health. What

you'll

do Prepare federal,

state

and local income tax returns, including all related analysis and support (and coordinate with third-party service providers for the completion, as necessary) Responsible for the preparation of non-income related tax returns/reports, such as sales and use,

property

and tax incentive returns/reports Prepare monthly,

quarterly

and annual tax provision calculations

in accordance with

GAAP, including coordinating reviews with the company's external financial auditors Responsible for the company oversite of the daily tax accounting transactions (income, sales, use and other- Federal,

state

and other local taxes) Coordinate audits of taxing authorities for various federal,

state

and local filings Maintain a system of policies and procedures and ensure that

appropriate internal

controls are in place over accounting for income taxes and indirect taxes Coordinate with senior management and external advisors to

establish

and maintain best practice tax strategies at the federal,

state

and local levels Coordinate with senior management and external advisors to secure economic and jobs incentives available to the company, and ensure programs are

properly managed Supporting M&A activities as necessary All other duties as assigned. What

cation:

Bache

lor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

M

asters

Degree in Business Taxation preferred JD or CPA preferred 7+

yrs

experience in role through either managing public company tax prep/reporting or public accounting serving public clients Experience preparing GAAP compliant tax provisions Experience coordinating and managing external tax service providers Experience building tax strategies, including coordinating with senior management and internal/external legal counsel on entity structure Experience with Sage Intacct Accounting and Workday Adaptive (Financial Reporting & Forecasting) systems a plus Protect and take care of our company and member's data every day by committing to work within our company ethics and policies Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
