HRIS Specialist

Our Manchester, NH healthcare client is advancing its technology platforms and is seeking a Workday Release & Testing Manager for their team. This full-time, direct-hire role is perfect for a leader with at least five years of computer applications experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities of the HRIS Specialist

Define and coordinate Workday release activities including updates, upgrades, testing cycles, change control processes, integrations, and additional implementations

Manage release calendar

Work with application team members to develop standard checklists for releases and initiate the process of distributing and reviewing release notes

Help create test documentation

Anticipate potential release issues, and plan and communicate mitigation steps

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications of the HRIS Specialist

5+ years of experience with appropriate computer systems and applications, including 2 years of Workday experience, in a clinical or healthcare business field

Bachelors degree in computer science, business, or a closely related clinical field; an additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Demonstrated experience leading teams in change and release management for an integrated healthcare system

Strong working knowledge of Workday, including operational knowledge with a Workday module and the ability to learn all modules

Familiarity with roles, concepts, and lifecycle of software development
