Job Description HumCap is recruiting for an enterprise software provider that serves apparel, electronics, home goods, and food markets with inventory tracking solutions. The software platform is used in more than 7,000 locations in 60+ countries with over 100,000 users making it the most widely deployed RFID solution and software platform in the world.
Position Description
We are searching for a B2B sales executive with experience selling into enterprise retail customers. If you have a background in selling warehouse management solutions or order management solutions to retailers, that is a plus The Director of Sales for North America will be based in Dallas and report to the President of the Division. This individual is accountable for developing new business amongst Fortune 1000 clients in North America with substantial six-figure and seven-figure deal sizes. This position requires someone who manages the direct sales approach with a strong focus in Retail store operations and Supply Chain systems solutions sales and delivers successful partnerships with eco-system partners to drive lead generation through closed deals. This position will primarily focus on new business development, prospecting, and lead generation. We are looking for a hunter who is ready to serve new customers
Responsibilities
Sell into apparel, electronics, sports, and home goods companies.
Accelerate sales cycle with in-person and virtual demonstrations.
Meet deadlines and exceed targets in RFP across multiple opportunities.
Work directly with the pricing and capture strategies that build the sales pipeline, with a focus on driving tangible ROIs for customers.
Develop business cases to justify investments in your solution, including problem solution customer pain points.
Accountable for Sales Playbook and strategic coaching and training of Account.
Demonstrates strong sales process and use of Salesforce tools driving account planning.
Successfully close new deals between $500K-$1.5M in revenue
20-35% travel requirements to new client sales engagement meetings, conferences, and events across North America and occasionally Internationally.
Education and Industry Experience
Bachelor’s degree
5-10+ years of experience selling Enterprise Software to Fortune 1000 companies
Technology SaaS solutions based selling is required. Supply chain and logistics technology industry space is preferred
Goal-oriented, positive, self-starter with strong analytical skills and a track record of selling software and solutions to VP/SVP, C-Levels in multiple verticals for long-cycle deals ranging in $250K to $1MM+ ARR.
Understanding of retail store operations (inventory, BOPIS, markdowns, digital experience) & supply chain management (Inventory, Planning, Sourcing and
transportation/distribution)
concepts, processes, and challenges is preferred.
Good understanding of the high-level uses of RFID and Serialization technologies in various Retail segments preferred
Experience with negotiation tools (RFI/RFP, Sales Playbook, Pricing, Value, and Contract Negotiation)
Knowledge of UHF RFID and cloud based solutions is also desired.
Additional Qualities
Achievement of quarterly targets, focus on deal closing strategies, managing existing account upsells and renewals through CRM account planning playbooks, and tracking performance with KPIs and metrics for performance management.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, establish relationships quickly and deliver compelling sales messages (via video, phone and in person).
Creative, can-do attitude, proactive in nature, structured but assertive in style to accelerate delivery of deal cycle.
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills – writing samples required.
Strong business acumen, Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining personal accountability for results.
