Description

We are seeking skilled Project, Program and Engagement Managers to lead customer-facing projects, guiding them from initial discovery to the engineered design of standardized commercial systems for carbon capture. This role places you at the forefront of our product development efforts within our beachhead markets in multiple distributed power applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Project Management: Manage end-to-end project delivery for key customers, from initial concept discussions through to product launch and commercialization, developing and managing rapport with key employees within and around the customer organization.
  • Strategic Project Planning: Develop and manage complex work plans over weeks and months, breaking down complex tasks into manageable workstreams and activities.
  • Interim Deliverables & Iterative Process Management: Create and manage interim deliverables, ensuring the project stays on track and progresses smoothly. Lead an iterative design process with clear milestones, distinguishing between the delivery of the MVP and the fully refined solution.
  • Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify program-level risks early, develop contingency plans, and resolve issues to minimize impact.
  • Delivery-Focused Design: Identify key parameters that will accelerate the path to success (e.g. cost, product volume, complexity, etc.) and use these to drive design decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with multiple stakeholders across different organizations (e.g. customer, fabricator, engineering firm, supply chain, etc.), ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional Team Leadership: Coordinate internal teams (product design, membrane design, engineering, etc.) to ensure successful execution.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Experienced leader with technical background: You have 5+ years of experience in management consulting or complex program management, complemented by a strong technical background (preferably in hardware development, engineering, or clean technology sectors).
  • Delivery-focused problem-solver: You have a sharp focus on identifying what matters to customers and to the program success and use these insights to guide the program. You thrive in challenging situations, using your expertise to find innovative solutions that maximize program success.
  • Organized and methodical: You excel at creating structured work plans, breaking down complex projects, and managing them through to successful completion.
  • Adaptable and iterative: You thrive in an environment that requires constant refinement and iteration, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
  • Passionate innovator: You're excited about working on projects that make a real impact on the environment and the future of our planet. Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience with a hardware product is a strong-bonus.
  • Collaborative: You're skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and driving alignment across teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or complex program management, complemented by a strong technical background (preferably in hardware development, engineering, or clean technology sectors)
  • MBA from a leading business school. Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline a bonus (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering).
