Primary Responsibilities

/ Essential Functions
Geographical operation expansion

b

uilding expansion design and project management. M

anage building projects from design through completion including sourcing and working with contractors

, complete facilities operational readiness and ramp-up

.
Commercial support support the commercial side of the business by developing new processes and products as well as nurturing existing process and product leads.

This includes attending customer visits and conference calls as well as project management and implementation.
New acquisition support and integration support

business leadership

in

selection

of and integration of new business acquisitions.
Large, globally focused projects and initiatives lead global projects, including

Lead

projects through launch while working with and empowering local on-site teams.

Process improvement projects -

lead cradle-to-grave process improvement projects on production lines by working with suppliers and int

Manufacturing engineering support

lead and

assist

in writing work instructions, standard operating procedures, calibration methods, and preventative maintenance instructions for production equipment.
Validation authoring and execution

-

write protocols and reports to

validate

new equipment or equipment upgrades at ISO 13485 level. Validations include IQ, OQ, PQ, and software.
Cost savings projects

-

work closely with operations to reduce

cost

by

identifying

waste, minimizing it, and improving productivity.
Manufacturing specification review

-

ensure products built for manufacturing are properly structured for

the optimum

efficiency.
Other projects not defined

improve Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Growth, and Morale (SQCDGM) globally and at each site.
Basic Qualifications
Education:
B.S. in

Mechanical, Electrical,

Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field
Experience:
7 years minimum

experience in

closely related function
Other Requirements:
Strong technical and mechanical skills including pneumatics, electrical controls, PLC programming.
Experience

with electronic and information systems including network communications, vision systems, and other data collection systems.
Skilled in data analysis including manufacturing statistical concepts.
Solid Microsoft Office skills and experience in enterprise applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Education

and/or Experience

:
MBA or other related masters degree
10 years minimum experience in closely related function
2D and 3D CAD experience desired (AutoCAD 2D and

Solidworks

3D).
Knowledge and experience in cGMP; knowledge of QSRs, and ISO 13485.
Working Conditions
Works in a controlled manufacturing environment; is

required

to

lift up

to 50 lbs. and may be

required

to stand for

long periods

of time while performing duties. Various levels of gowning are

required

. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
