This role will be expected to be hands on to ensure all production activities align with customer demands and management goals.Operate as the main engineering support for the Nylok machining departmentManage improvement projects related to production equipment and work-cellsCollect and analyze production data to identify process opportunitiesAnalyze equipment to identify and propose setup and in-process efficienciesDesign and build production equipment or equipment componentsDocument process and equipment standardsManage Lean manufacturing activitiesSupport quality and problem-solving activitiesCompetencies:To Perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem Solving: Identifies, approaches, and resolves problems in a methodical and timely manner (i.e. PDCA, 8D, etc.)Project Management: Manages and completes multiple projects on timeAnalytical: Collects, analyzes, and presents data in an impactful wayInnovation: Displays original thinking and creativity; Generates improvement suggestionsCommunication: Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and writtenTechnical Skills: Strives to continuously build knowledge and skillsAdaptability: Demonstrates a remarkable capacity to adapt effortlessly to any situation, regardless of its scaleQualifications:Ability to read and interpret work order instructions, blueprints, and standard operating proceduresExperience or familiarity with machining and/or CNC conceptsExperience in CAD; Solid Edge a plusExperience in a manufacturing environment or lean manufacturing a plusFamiliar with control systems; PLC and HMI programing a plusBachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering or equivalent work experienceMust be eligible for employment in the United StatesStarting Salary $70k-$90k- depending on experience.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
