JOB SUMMARY:

To introduce TURCK products into the Process Automation Industries. This includes evaluating our current sales channel and developing a new channel where needed. Establish and manage a presence at large accounts that are handled as direct customers. Penetrate and work with engineering companies to get TURCK speced on projects. Also, provide product feedback to Marketing Management on new products or features that would allow our existing products to meet the customer and PA industry requirements.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The majority of the job is dedicated to assisting the PA sales channel and the new PA customers in solving applications with innovative new products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the sales effort to acquire significant project or OEM business through direct involvement and/or coordination of sales channel activities as necessary. Develop additional sales channel options as required to penetrate the Process Automation industries and deal with integrated supply accounts. Ability to get inside engineering companies, find the right people and get projects speced with TURCK content. Provide inputs to Division Marketing Management to assist with annual product volume forecasts, marketing plans, advertising programs, sales tool development, and determination of new product development needs. Identify projects and OEM opportunities with significant sales potential for TURCK products. Interface with counterparts from other TURCK entities throughout the world to support the pursuit of multi-national opportunities. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The job requires a four-year college education, preferably in a technical field such as engineering. Five to eight years of experience in sales, marketing or marketing management, or product management within the Process Automation (PA) industries is a requirement. Experience with a multi-national company or international experience is also a benefit. Having or being willing to acquire a commercial drivers license (CDL) is highly desired. There is a demonstration trailer and SUV that are available to use but require a CDL to operate. #J-18808-Ljbffr
