The HR Administrator will support the HR department in various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations. This role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment processes, and coordinating employee onboarding and training programs.

Essential Functions

  • Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee files, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
  • Training and Development: Help organize employee training programs and track participation and feedback.
  • Safety: assisting in the reporting of workplace accidents and vehicle incidents. Following up on workers comp and insurance claims.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Help implement HR policies and procedures and ensure that employees are informed of updates.
  • Payroll and Benefits Support: Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, including answering employee inquiries about payroll and benefits.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports on HR metrics, such as recruitment, turnover, and employee engagement.
  • Compliance: Support compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR administration or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in ADP Workforce is preferred.
Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.
