Key Responsibilities:A SeniorProduct Engineer is responsible for supporting the technical development anddeployment of Siemens' Custom Integrated Circuit Verification products. Product Engineers handle the toughest circuitsimulation challenges, working closely with our world-class field applicationsand engineering teams to enhance the accuracy, performance, capacity andfunctionality for all types of circuit analysis.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Designing, debugging,and simulating analog/mixed-signal/RF circuits to push the capabilities ofSiemens' analog mixed-signal circuit simulation products
  • Identifyinghigh-value potential improvements and new functionality for all Siemens analogmixed-signal verification technologies
  • Providing technicalproduct reports that focus on circuit simulation accuracy and performance
  • Writing and reviewingspecifications for product development projects
  • Critically assessingdevelopment projects for realistic delivery timelines and value propositions
  • Testing andvalidating new product features
  • Running beta programsfor major new developments and product features
  • Assisting with and/orleading customer evaluations of Siemens' analog mixed-signal verification tools
  • Providing technicalproduct support and electrical engineering support to both customers and fieldapplication engineers; working directly with customers to debug circuit designissues and identify issues in the verification/simulation tools
  • Creating andreviewing high-quality technical collateral, application notes, and deploymentmaterials
  • Supporting andtesting the integration of circuit simulation technology in adjacent Siemensverification products
Qualifications:
  • BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or relatedfield (MSc preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in related role

Deep knowledge of electricalengineering and analog mixed-signal circuit design concepts
Ability to debug electrical circuitand SPICE simulation issues
Proficiency in both Windows andLinux environments
Experience with EDA tools,specifically SPICE Circuit Simulators and Analog Design Environment tools
Basic scripting in bash and/orcshell
Automation tasks with scriptinglanguages such as Python
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
Experience creating and deliveringtechnical trainings
Proficiency in using bug and projecttracking software (Jira and Confluence preferred)
Ability to collect and analyze largeamounts of data
Proficiency in MS Office tools suchas Excel and PowerPoint

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $145,700 to$262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
