Job Title: Product Engineer 3

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer 3 to join our Global Products Group at Lam Research. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative semiconductor equipment and process design solutions to resolve customer issues and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide the specification and development of products.
  • Design and conduct experiments, tests, and prototypes to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Provide technical support for installation and/or diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex product issues.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer engagement, including face-to-face and international travel to customer sites.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Exceptional analytical and experimental design skills.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable traveling up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior product design and technical engineer experience is beneficial.
  • Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
  • Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.
