Position

  • The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites.
    Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate.
  • Apogee's ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starting Acquisition Professional who will support contracts and related business processes throughout all stages of the contract management life cycle. The right candidate will be able to work independently and function effectively as part of a team and interact with people from junior to senior-most levels. This individual should have experience meeting deadlines, and prioritizing contracts related items across large organizations.
What You'll Do
  • Responsible for reviewing acquisition documents for CASE equities to include assisting with the development of common language deliverables (such as a T2 CONOPS, T2 SOW, T2 Acquisition Strategy, T2 Award Fee Guide, T2 OLA, T2 Clin Structure)
  • Will be supporting COMM/CASE in an oversight role for the Transformer-2 (T2) acquisitions
  • Document detailed meeting minutes/action items for CASE Leadership use
  • Develop and provide a status for CASE Leadership on T2 acquisition contracts using a spreadsheet, dashboard, SharePoint, Confluence, or other proposed medium
Required
  • Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years of experience in contracts or acquisitions
  • Knowledge of the customer Acquisition Lifecycle (i.e. acquisition strategy, RFP development, proposal evaluation, award)
  • Strong understanding of Government finance
  • Must have strong organizational skills
