Job Description

The North America Sales team at Cash App is responsible for driving revenue to Cash App's core payments products (Afterpay & Cash App) through commerce, giving our Merchant partners access to the largest and most engaged network of next generation consumers.

We are looking for a Sales Insights Associate to join the North America Sales Strategy team reporting to the Sales Insights Lead. The Sales Insights Associate will partner across the NA Sales organization to help win merchants and provide actionable insights through world class data & insights.

The key focus for the Sales Insights Associate role is to enable our front line sales team to position the value of our products and customers to our merchant partners leveraging data. In addition, they will analyze sales and business performance data to provide insights internally that can help drive performance, build strategies, and increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • This role will support in driving forward and growing our merchant relationships in North America from a data and insights perspective
  • Work with Data Science team on scope, development and testing of visualizations and self-serve dashboards for sales and account management
  • Develop scalable content and resources to enable efficient, self-service opportunities that bolster Afterpay & Cash App's position as a data led organization
  • Build trust with our merchants to view us as indispensable strategic partners that are open to collaborative testing opportunities
  • Deliver actionable insights to identify opportunities for growth and to enhance merchant relationships
  • Ensure repeatable, scalable processes in place where relevant
  • Create and manage a library for merchant insights so the business has easy access to our team's deliverables
  • Effectively communicate your work with team leads and cross-functional stakeholders on a regular basis
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Ability to think critically and problem solve through the lens of the business, then communicate complex ideas and translate insights into narrative
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and lasting collaborative relationships
  • Comfortable working at pace, sometimes with competing and changing priorities
  • Deep analytical mindset with great attention to detail - keen to deliver actionable insights, recommendations and measurable growth
  • Advanced excel skills and baseline SQL understanding, proficient in a BI tool
  • Ideally, experience working in a B2C organization e.g. Retail, Travel, Telco, Retail Banking
Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $35.00 - USD $48.13
Zone B: USD $32.55 - USD $44.76
Zone C: USD $29.76 - USD $40.91
Zone D: USD $26.25 - USD $36.11
