Our client stands at the forefront as a premier provider of Digital and ASIC services, catering to the technology and telecom sectors. Collaborating with some of the world’s most prominent names, they specialize in pioneering next-generation chip design and verification services. Recently, they have secured substantial new funding, positioning them for significant growth and expansion.

They are seeking an exceptionally talented and driven Sales Director for the North American market to join their leadership team in the Bay Area. This role is pivotal in expanding and nurturing their ASIC business within the Semiconductor and Hyperscaler ecosystem.

The position offers substantial impact and influence, with significant growth potential for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be an A+ performer with a hunter mentality, possessing a proven track record of selling to Semiconductor or Hyperscaler accounts, with a strong focus on strategic customer relationships and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include developing the sales and go-to-market strategy, as well as growing the commercial function to maximize the impact of the recent funding.

Key qualifications include:

  • 12 to 15 years of experience working with or selling to top-tier Semiconductor/Hyperscaler accounts, with proven sales success at a senior level.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ASIC/Chip market landscape, including knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Experience with cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML, 5G, graphics, cloud computing, and ADAS.
  • Expertise in handling turnkey and ODC opportunities for SOCs and embedded software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain new accounts while fostering growth in existing ones.
  • A proven history of driving new business development and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially within the Hyperscaler/Chip industry segment.
  • An established network of industry contacts within Hyperscaler companies and ASIC/Chip manufacturers.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working independently.
