Join us Role Overview: This role is a Senior Engineer to provide leadership and end-to-end technology oversight in the Complaints Technology space to reduce the risk in strategic programs. These programs are planned for deployment over several years due to changes in the definition of complaints and increased consent order issues. This role is in the Global Operations Technology vertical under Global Tech. This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery. Responsibilities: Provide solution technology guidance for areas of concentration in the portfolio. Provide end-to-end design guidance, oversight, and problem management. Oversee requirements gathering and interpretation for all infrastructure impacts across the portfolio pipeline. Clarify requirements where necessary and ensure all teams understand the business reasons for the requirements. Guide teams through design challenges and provide oversight of design and implementation reviews. Review final target architecture and design, ensuring operational readiness. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and partner with architecture/development teams on business planning sessions. Provide reviews of existing solutions, tracking/remediating issues and gaps for resiliency, risk, and performance. Ensure technology roadmaps align with business strategies and plans. Guide technology decisions to ensure that strategic plans converge across technology areas. Required Skills: 10+ years in technology and 7+ years of Pega experience with Mulesoft knowledge. Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills with system integration skills. Certified Pega Lead System Architect or equivalent experience with CSSA. Experience with the latest Pega 8 features and case management. Experience in all areas of application development, including flows, agents/queue processors, and integrations. Experience integrating REST and SOAP services. Experience with BIX framework (Business Intelligence Exchange). Working knowledge of building Pega user interfaces with ADA compliance. Experience fine-tuning applications for optimal performance. Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate new testing tools/frameworks/practices. Enable team(s) with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities. Guide teams on design and best practices for high code performance. Conduct research, design prototyping, and evaluate new toolsets for release management and CI/CD. Work with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and technical requirements.
