Reviews and recommends operational tax-related enhancements to business team procedures, policies and training materials.
Supports business initiatives to provide new or enhanced products/activities to Discover customers by communicating the tax implications and requirements of those products or activities.
Reviews language in customer/payee-facing communications to ensure language is tax-appropriate.
Uses research tools to explore issues posed by business teams and formulates responses as guidance to those requests.
Facilitates and performs activities required by the Compliance Management System (CMS) for Corporate Tax.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, heres what we need from you:
Bachelors Degree
2+ years of experience in tax, finance, law, compliance, audit, risk management, or related field
In lieu of education, 6+ years of experience in tax, law, finance, compliance, audit, risk management, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
If we had our say, wed also look for:

Compensation:
