Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and conducting orientations.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to HR, including digital file maintenance, HRIS entry, and updates to the employee intranet.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and questions, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Manage and maintain employee background checks, Safesport training, CPR, First Aid, and AED Training requirements.
  • Coordinate employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit inquiries.
  • Review time cards and bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Administer training and development programs, scheduling sessions and tracking participation.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as developing standard operating procedures and diversity programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
  • Reconcile monthly benefits statements and process invoices through the accounts payable system.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to optimize HR processes and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Certifications:

  • Highschool diploma or GED required.
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.

Experience:

  • 1-4 years of related experience in an HR administrative support role required.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive) preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region (MD, DC, VA, WV).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to make repetitive motions, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects; lift up to 25 lbs with or without assistance.
