My client, a leading healthcare network headquartered in Pennsylvania, is adding to their team for fully remote, long termcontract positions. We are seeking a detail-oriented Contracting Specialist to manage contract drafting and administration, ensuring sound management and fiscal practices to control the quality of goods and services purchased. This role involves extensive interaction with Business Units, Leadership, and suppliers, and is responsible for contract clause selection, contract drafting, and managing contract drafts during negotiations. Other responsibilities include interfacing with Sourcing Specialists for the development of RFx contractual language, participating in the development of complex contracts and negotiation strategies, reviewing supplier contract exceptions and identifying potential liability, ensuring that standard methodologies and applicable federal, state and local mandates are consistently followed, preparing complex contracts, ensuring contract compliance with network policies, ensuring supplier compliance with contract terms, and driving continuous improvements.

Required Skills

Experience in drafting contracts

Experience in the facilitation and negotiating of contracts

Knowledge of healthcare industry market trends and dynamics

Personal Computing, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project

Problem-solving, financial, and analytical process skills

Contracts experience working through a Merger and Acquisition (M&A)
