Conceptualize high-volume production equipment, prioritizing safety, cost, capacity, volumetric efficiency, and delivery timeIdentify automation opportunities and collaborate with Automation/Control Engineers for design and implementationOptimize production equipment to maximize safety and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), driving world-class quality levels. Lead continuous improvement projects to increase yield, capacity, and capabilityManage continuous improvement projects to drive equipment performance based on metrics such as OEE, Availability, MTTR, and MTBFUtilize CAD modeling and FEA structural analysis for new tooling/equipment, defining specifications and requirements Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 4+ years of Engineering experienceUnderstanding of automation control systems PLC/HMI/SCADA/ Robots (preferably Siemens with TIA portal and Ignition) and interfaces with software and factory databases.
