This role will be fully remote and report to the CEO of the company. Primary functions

Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may also include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Maintain both physical and digital records as well as HRIS systems used by the company as it pertains to the HR department.

Act as a leader and mentor of the company

Manage the full cycle recruitment process for the company. Recruits, interviews, and manages the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

Present offers to candidates along with dealing with all negotiations

Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Manages, attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Work closely with the executive team and managers to provide insight on organizational restructuring, internal mobility, growth opportunities, and performance reviews.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Performs other HR duties as required.

Proficient in Google Suite and Excel.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems, strong preference for experience with Bamboo HR and CoAdvantage.

What you have accomplished

Minimum 5+ years experience in Human Resources.

Minimum 2 year of Management experience.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus
