LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Oak Park, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources administration, with a focus on employee relations, engagement, and compliance. The Bilingual HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the workforce and ensuring a positive work environment for all employees. Work Schedule: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:30 pm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support for employees and managers on the 2nd shift.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and assist with onboarding processes for new employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with managers to address employee concerns and develop solutions to improve employee engagement and morale.
  • Administer HR programs and initiatives, including benefits administration, leave management, and employee recognition programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations as they pertain to human resources administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support recruitment and staffing efforts, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to human resources administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven conflict resolution skills and ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives and programs.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours: Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-10:30 pm.
