This Lead Manufacturing Engineer is a working supervisor over the technical staff (engineers and technicians) that are responsible for all processes and equipment used in the Proof Test, Leak Test, and Packaging areas. This lead is responsible for the technical experts in the assigned area. The group this Engineering Lead oversees is responsible for the day-to-day activities needed to keep the production line running. This includes interacting with, and giving guidance to, maintenance for repairing production equipment. This also includes interacting with Process Engineering for topics related to process and equipment design. The Lead Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the Work Instruction package for the area of responsibility and support training of people to the Work Instruction. ResponsibilitiesProcesses and equipment used in the Proof Test, Leak Test, and Packaging areas Develop solutions for problems as related to new and existing products, processes, materials, equipment, and testing.Participate as a technical lead in the conception, planning, and execution of projects Present findings in written reports and verbally in a group setting Develop, implement, and monitor projects within stated performance guidelines Interact with personnel on technical matters that require coordination of activities Able to fulfill roles and responsibilities without supervisionResponsible for development projectsTrain and monitor the work of lower-level Manufacturing EngineersLead a subgroup of Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians.
