Annual salary starting at $75,000

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This is a hybrid position which includes remote days and in-office days based out of our Braintree Home Office.
  • Provide support with compliance of Section 7 and 8 Housing Act and Tax Credits
  • Process payroll journal entries, bank reconciliations, accruals, prepaid, and all tasks related to month end
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial packages and year-end audits
  • Maintain accounting books and records
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules
  • Enter and reconcile bi-weekly payroll transaction, and review and post payroll activities
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associates degree in accounting or finance, or specialized training in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a property accounting role required; experience in lease administration preferred
  • Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), required
  • Knowledge of compliance with Sections 7 & 8 Housing Act is a plus
  • Strong technology skills with ability to learn systems SLR uses: Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Google Apps for Work (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides), calendar management and web-based project management; working knowledge of general office equipment
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, thrive in a fast-pace setting and meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy
